Riverdale Kids = Active Kids

Riverdale Kids’ enriching and dynamic programs for children promote active living in a non competitive yet exciting environment. Our accomplished, highly qualified instructors provide exceptional leadership for children.

Riverdale Kids provides classes in Ballet, Soccer Skills, Multi Sport and Music that increase physical activity while developing a love of movement, sport, music and dance. We offer a wide variety of scheduling options to accommodate busy families’ schedules – kids can participate weekday mornings, lunch breaks, after school, or on weekends. Our mission is to increase the opportunities for preschool- and school-aged children to participate in organized classes that provide a foundation for a lifetime of active living.

Active Kids: The report card is in

The 2009 Active Healthy Kids Canada Report Card on Physical Activity for Children and Youth reveals that children who are more physically active are also more academically fit, resulting in better scores in math and reading, higher grades, greater perceptual skill and overall academic readiness.
